A quick word about the 1981 playlist. This is an edited blog entry. I originally did a 1981 playlist before I decided to do playlists for all of the 70’s and 80’s, so here I have just changed a few songs and created this new playlist. I have 2 debuts on the list. The first is Stevie Nicks solo debut, “Bella Donna”. The second is Motley Crue’s “Too Fast For Love”. One of the songs I added was “Live Wire”, which is taken from that album. That’s a good song. My playlist for 1980 only features one true debut, and that is by Loverboy. There was a debut of a new singer for an established band. That would be Black Sabbath, who released their first album with Ronnie James Dio. I didn’t know this way back in 1980. I have just recently developed an interest in this era of Sabbath.
