A quick word about the 1981 playlist. This is an edited blog entry. I originally did a 1981 playlist before I decided to do playlists for all of the 70’s and 80’s, so here I have just changed a few songs and created this new playlist. I have 2 debuts on the list. The first is Stevie Nicks solo debut, “Bella Donna”. The second is Motley Crue’s “Too Fast For Love”. One of the songs I added was “Live Wire”, which is taken from that album. That’s a good song. For my 1979 playlist, I only have one debut artist featured. That would be Pat Benatar. She was one of the few female true rockers that got any airplay around that time, and she would get a lot of that airplay for the next few years. Unfortunately, 1979 would be the last year that we would hear Bon Scott on lead vocals for AC/DC.
