My very first concert was Eric Clapton on April 25, 1990 at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas. That was a great show. I was only 5 years old then, but I still remember the show. Clapton did some of his playing during the early 90s.
I saw Ray Stevens back around 1993 in Branson. I always liked him when I was a kid, but his show that night was very short and not exactly entertaining. I saw Wayne Newton on the same trip and his show was excellent.

No I have not heard Deep Purple Highway Star covered by Point Blank. I had not even heard of Point Blank at that time, and didn't follow them much after that. From my recollection they sounded pretty good in concert by that's all I remember.
