I think you did a good review of Diver Down. Not their best but at the time it was actually my favorite. I'm sure they could have found a little more material to fill it out though. I think this was a bit of a rush job.
Van Halen is the best American Rock Band ever. However, they have been honestly fucked up for many years and we fans have suffered a lack of good new music. I hope the current lineup records and VH rocks again!
We love any and all Van Halen lineups in this group. Great music since 1978!!! Maybe more to come, who knows???
Well Triumph had their biggest succes in the 80's. So did Iron Maiden.
A group for all of the bands that started in the 1980's or had great success in the 80's but do not really fit in to the hair band genre. Bands like Metallica, Night Ranger, Tesla and Queensryche belong here.

I hate to say it but they really don't inspire me. I have listened to the album about 4 times and its mediocre. Hagar is trying to keep his youth alive but the clock is ticking. Eddie is probably somewhere having a good chuckle.
