For me, my CD wish list currently includes:

The new Queensryche, the new Heaven And Hell, Chickenfoot, several of the old Starz albums on CD, and I would like to get some older UFO on CD, such as Lights Out and Force It (have those on vinyl). And I would like to one day spend the money to get the first Kiss live record on CD...still my favorite live album of all time...and Uncle Teds Cat Scratch on CD.

For DVD's, I want to get at least one, if not more, of the Kissology series, and I'd like to get Black Label Societys (Zakk Wylde) European Invasion Doom Troopin' Live DVD...already have Boozed, Broozed, and Broken Boned.

To RJhog, I personally love Dogman...my second favorite Kings X. I have Black Sun by Primal Fear. It is amazing how much they sound like Judas Priest. The vocalist hits those high notes that Rob Halford is so famous for. This CD is very, very heavy, but I have no idea how it compares with their other releases. But I dont mean to say that they are JP copy cats or anything like that...its a good comparison though. Black Sun, I would say, is similar to a Priest recording like Painkiller, maybe. Faster, heavy, frantic if you will...heavy metal.

Hey Gordon, check around for "Lights Out" and "Force It" on CD. Last year they remastered and expanded those, as well as others, and they sound very good.

TO GO SEE CHICKENFOOT, AND OF COURSE SEE KISS AGAIN...

Right now it's CD's from Lacuna Coil and Chickenfoot. Maybe Queensryche and Heaven and Hell as well.

You have got to get "Dogman". And then get everything else they've done. It's only 14 studio albums, 1 live and a greatest hits package. That'll tie you up for a week or so.

Good stuff with Iced Earth. I also highly recommend "Horror Show" and "The Glorious Burden" as well, if you don't have 'em yet.

I have "Dogman" on my short list. I'll get it next time I order from Amazon. I actually only need to get 13 studios after that....I just got XV but have not been able to listen. I'll try to get to it this weekend or the first of next week. As always, thanks for the good info.

CD - That would be the pre-Savatage band Avatar "City Beneath The Surface".

King's X - Dogman is still on my wish list. Also:

Cheap Trick - Rockford
Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive ( I just realized that I don't have this)
New Heaven N Hell
New Great White
Europe - Almost Unplugged
Jimi Jamison - Crossroads Moment
Wetton/Downes - Icon 3
I also hear that a new authorized bootleg for Kiss is coming out in May. I'm not sure why, but I'll probably get it.....

Rockford is excellent and so is the new Jimi Jamison CD.

I'm looking forward to the Heaven and Hell, Great White and Europe CDs.

Of course I've still got to get my hands on the last couple of Europe discs as well.

TageRyche, I dont have Secret Society, so if you get it, let us know what you think, please.

I do have Start From The Dark, and think its a very good disc. John Norum uses a lot of down-tuning on his guitar, making it sound even heavier on the rockin' songs. And without a doubt, he is an excellent guitarist, and very under-rated. And the vocal work is strong, in my opinion. Good disc.

I have a new wish list item. I am now looking for a good stereo receiver. I need something that will accept mixed equipment. I have a turntable and a 6-tape multi-cassette tape player that I have had for years. I also need a good cd player. Of course, then I'll need somewhere to put it all.....
