I noticed that most of Zappa's main releases have been labeled as being recalled by the manufaturer on the Amazon.com site. The Barnes and Noble site has them available under Zappa records and not RykoDisk, who has been releasing the disks for the past 14 years.
I did a quick look at the Ryko site. THe catalogue is gone with no mention of why. There's also no mention on the Official Zappa site. THis is pretty wierd! ANyone have any idea of what's going on?

Rykodisc was bought out by Warner Music Group a few years ago (I believe) and they now have the reissue rights to the Zappa catalogue. So, it's in WMG's hands now for reissues. Maybe they pulled back all the Rykodiscs because they're planning new reissues? Very interesting since there's nothing of note anywhere about what's going on.
